Chicago is a world-class city known for innovation and forward-thinking design. Our skyline and magnificent public spaces are admired around the globe. Chicago Design Matters was formed to recognize and promote the significant contributions that the professional design community, in collaboration with community leaders, has made toward the positive evolution of our city. We aim to share that knowledge with emerging and other world capitals through dialogue and other means. We intend to expand business opportunities and to help address significant design issues facing urban regions internationally.
Immediately before the world descends upon Chicago for the NATO Summit, CDM travels to Washington to convene a conference for the diplomatic and international development community.
